I'm not sure why I suggested this category. It's pretty hard to do a guest photo comic. If the strip uses recurring people/toys you can't really do it unless you've got access to the same people/toys. And if it doesn't have those things, then what makes it a guest strip as opposed to your own strip? If I tried to do a Sinister Bedfellows guest strip for example, would it really be a Sinister Bedfellows comic, or would it simply be a Tiny Ghosts comic with a white strip across the center?

That all being said, the one photo comic that you can do a guest strip for is Found Comics. Mainly because it uses randomly generated photos. If anyone wants to do a guest strip for found, let me know. They are fun and easy!

I agree that in certain cases, it's tough to do a guest strip.

However, if someone who, say, draws their comic wanted to do a guest strip of Pop-Quest in their drawing style, I would be SO down with that!!

I know what you mean! I've intentionally left the characters "iconic" and would be highly curious how other artists would interpret the characters.

Found Comics Guest Challenge!

As you hopefully know, Found Comics is based on randomly generated images.  A keyword search is used to pull a series of six photos from the internet.  Then hilarious text is added to make the photos appear to be a real comic.

I figure if I can do it, anybody can do it.  In that spirit I've posted the first Found Comics Guest Challenge:
http://www.tinyghosts.com/found/challenge/

There are six sets of photos to chose from.  Just send me your personal hilarious text for one of the sets (or more) and I'll turn it into a Found Comics guest strip and post it next to my version of the comic.  Will they be similar or amazingly different?

If you still don't get it, see some examples of previous Found Comics here:

Found Comics is a bit like a Rorschach test.  The images have no inherent meaning.  What people see in them is a reflection of themselves.  Most of the comics I make turn out to be creepy and disturbing, and that's cuz I'm kinda creepy and disturbing.  One of the people who did a guest comic came up with a story about gay Brazilian prostitutes, which says something about his proclivities don't you think...
